The new version VTrain 5.0 includes a variety of innovative features. In the Train mode, the user's input is corrected and the wrong characters are marked up. The user can ask for hints
and even cheat and catch a glimpse of the right answer. Wrong answers are dealt with separately, in order to prevent them from coming about again. A number of customizable settings make
VTrain meet almost any requirement.
VTrain also includes a flexible Editor mode supporting various multimedia formats, including sound recording and image edition. It supports Unicode fonts, so edition in virtually any
language is possible. On-screen keyboards and an automatic keyboard layout switch feature make writing in two languages more convenient than ever. On the other hand, free decks of
flashcards in 40 languages are available for download from the official website.
VTrain (Vocabulary Trainer) is fit for use over the local area network in an educational establishment. Instructors can edit the teaching materials in such a way that the individual files
of all students will mirror the changes automatically over the LAN. This makes it possible to guarantee a high quality for the teaching materials. VTrain has been registered by 25
universities and by hundreds of other educational institutions from all over the world.
VTrain 5.0 runs on Windows 2000/XP. The full version is available for private, non-commercial use at 19.00 US$ or 19.00 per license. For more information about VTrain (Vocabulary Trainer)
