RoboWiz Corporation announces the alpha release of Vistascript Developer for creating rich client

applications on Windows Vista.



The development environment includes a syntax highlighting editor, a GUI designer, an interactive debugger, an editor for modifying server side scripts, and a script compiler. The runtime is a bytecode interpreter with built-in support XMPP, JSON, REST, and SOAP protocols.



The Vistascipt language is modelled after the Javascript 2.0 proposal and supports the use of Smalltalk style code blocks.
