Practical and Proven International Project Management Methodology Comes to the United States

The International Society for Six Sigma Certifications, LLC) and Advantage Learning Limited have partnered to offer PRINCE2 training into the US market. ISSSC is the first US company to formally offer public and in-house PRINCE2 training in the US in partnership with Advantage Learning Ltd.

Advantage Learning Ltd is a specialist PRINCE2 Accredited Training Organization. They have over 25 trainers worldwide, including founder and key instructor, Paul Atkin. "We are dedicated to assisting organizations to deliver their projects in time, on budget and to the quality required, through training in a proven project management method," says Paul Atkin, Owner, Advantage Learning Ltd.

ISSSC, a training, consulting and IT service provider prides itself in delivering quality process improvements to business in order to reduce defects, cycle time and waste. "ISSSC's commitment to process improvement and helping companies increase their profit margin fits perfectly in line with the PRINCE2 offering," says Betty Hakes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ISSSC.

PRINCE2 provides a structure that supplies project managers with a practical roadmap from conception to close. "With this methodology there is no need to guess which tools or process is next, it's a prescriptive project management methodology that helps all project managers, from first-time learners to experienced PMP certified professionals. In actuality, PRINCE2 and the PMBOK (Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge) are complementary and it's suggested Project Managers should have knowledge of both," says Michael Link, Principal for ISSSC and certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Advantage Learning is a PMI Registered Education Provider and PRINCE2 classes qualify for PDUs.

The PRINCE2 method saves time by creating standards and providing a roadmap for project managers to use. It saves organizations money because it is driven by the business case, plus gives project managers tools they can use without having to create their own. All PRINCE2 plans begin with Product Based Planning (PBP), which allows all members of the project team to work together to deliver quality products. This project management methodology can be applied across all industries and disciplines.

Classes are currently scheduled for September in New York City, November in Washington DC and December in Cincinnati. Classes are limited to only ten learners per instructor. In-house corporate training can be scheduled immediately with a minimum of four learners.
