Generations in the Workplace Webinar on Sept. 17 Focuses onContributions...



iversity University is pleased to announce their newest e-Z Learn course designed to maximize the skills and experience of workers from all five age groups now found in our workforce: Radio Babies, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Gen Y, and Millennials. The interactivity of the e-learning diversity training course makes it ideal for any company hoping to educate their staff with the knowledge of how each diverse group deals with day-to-day workplace situations.



The course is based on the book Bridging the Generation Gap by Cincinnati residents Robin Throckmorton, MA, SPHR and Linda Gravett, PhD, SPHR, CEQC both entrepreneurs and company owners in the field of Human Resources. To coincide with the course launch, the authors will be hosting a Free Webinar, Generational Conflict Management Strategies, on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. EST. The Free Webinar focuses on generational differences causing conflict in the workplace, myths, communications and several other topics. For all companies facing the breadth of age in their workforce, this Free Webinar is ideal to enlighten people at all organizational levels to how each of these diverse groups communicate and prefer to be communicated to for team success.



Robin and Linda will be joined by attorney Mike Newman, a partner at Dinsmore and Shohl specializing in employment law. During the session, attendees will get an overview of who makes up the five age groups, their basic set of ideals, and how each group handles conflict resolution, morale issues, management, and more. More importantly, it will share insights as to how to build a strong team by utilizing the diverse strengths of each group.
