ALOM CEO Hannah Kain Honored as Woman of Distinction



The East Bay Business Times has honored Hannah Kain as a 's8220;Woman of Distinction in Technology.'s8221; Kain is CEO of ALOM, a Fremont-based assembly and fulfillment company.

The awards ceremony took place at Mitchell Katz Winery in Livermore, California on April 27.

's8220;I's8217;m honored to have been selected for this award,'s8221; said Kain, during her acceptance speech. 's8220;I believe in hiring exceptional staff to help serve our customers, and I believe in bringing out the best in each person.'s8221;

Kain shares that philosophy in her community as well. 's8220;I want every young woman who sees an opportunity to not be scared to take it,'s8221; she said.

ALOM grew from a one-person shop to 70 employees and up to several hundreds of contract workers in just a few, short years. Clients have included Sun Microsystems, the U.S. Government, Hewlett-Packard as well as many small and midsized public companies.
