J. J. Keller Awards 2007 Prosperareg University Program Scholarships

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has awarded six scholarships to students participating in the Prospera University Program. Students at schools participating in the University Program were eligible to participate in the contest for a chance to receive a portion of the $10,000 in scholarship monies being awarded.

University of Wisconsin - Whitewater student Michael Baumhardt was awarded the $5,000 scholarship. Serving in many roles, both as a volunteer and employee, he has worked to further develop and prepare himself for a role in human resources. "Ultimately, my goal is to be able to help others and serve as a resource for them in the workplace. HR provides me with the ability to achieve that goal," said Baumhardt.

Five $1,000 scholarships were awarded to Thomas Brown, The University of Findlay; Erika Dewald-Hoss, Western Technical College; Meaghan Lynch, Barton College; Misty Ricard, Barton College; and Katie VanBeek, University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.

Rustin Keller, Corporate Internet Products Manager, said, "We are pleased that Prospera could provide these students with scholarships to aid them in the completion of their degrees. Human resources is a critical and highly visible role and each of these students demonstrated a sincere desire to connect with, develop and empower employees to grow and succeed."

J. J. Keller launched the Prospera University Program as part of its commitment to higher education and the industries which it serves. Professors and students will have access to reference materials, HR specific interactive tools and applications, and valuable industry information. The program will be another tool for professors to further enhance their curriculum and a resource for students in attaining their degree.

Registrations for the Prospera University Program are currently being accepted. To register, contact Stephanie Dean at 920-720-7802 or sdean(at)jjkeller.com. Only students at schools participating in the Prospera University Program are eligible for the scholarships, which will once again be available to students in 2008.
