ADC KRONE Features IndustryLeading FTTX Wireless and Automated Connectivity...

ADC KRONE (NASDAQ:ADCT; www.adckrone.com and www.adc.com) announced today that it will showcase its portfolio of network infrastructure equipment designed for wireline, wireless and enterprise networks at CommunicAsia 2006 (Booth #3L4-01) in Singapore, 20-23 June 2006. The products featured in ADC KRONE'ss exhibit space include a full suite of fibre-to-the-x (FTTX) solutions for the central office (CO) and outside plant, wireless coverage and capacity solutions, automated connectivity solutions for service providers and enterprises as well as ADC KRONE's8217;s portfolio of solutions for enterprises.

Fibre Solutions Enable High Performance

ADC KRONE'ss OmniReach's8482; FTTX Infrastructure Solutions are the industry'ss first platforms designed from the ground up to meet the unique requirements of FTTX networks. By building high-speed networks with OmniReach fibre distribution terminals and frames, service providers accelerate deployment and maximize operational efficiency from the CO to the outside plant. At CommunicAsia, ADC KRONE will showcase a selected range of OmniReach products that cater to the unique needs of the customers in the Asia Pacific rim.

The OmniReach Non-Metallic Fibre Access Terminals provide a robust, user friendly and cost-effective platform for delivering fibre optic service drops in FTTX deployment. Manufactured of high performance, outside plant-rated thermoplastic material, they provide maximum protection from temperature extremes, high impact and other destructive factors.

With more fibre to manage, new fibre-to-the-premises technologies require a new approach. The Next Generation Frame (NGF), a high density fibre distribution frame system, meets this need head on as it is designed to allow service providers to build a robust cable management system for fibre optic networks.

Automated Connectivity Benefits Wireless Networks and Exchanges

At CommunicAsia 2006, ADC KRONE will feature its new ADX Active Digital Cross-Connect System, an innovative solution for connecting wireless networks and exchanges. Part of the company'ss new line of automated connectivity solutions, the ADX system combines a synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) multiplexer and a digital distribution frame into a compact package. The design yields a key benefit: due to the very high density of interconnections, the ADX requires about 50 percent to 80 percent less space than traditional cross-connect links.

Wireless Innovations Enhance Capacity and Coverage

On the wireless front, ADC KRONE will showcase the new Digivance(R) WMX WiMAX and Digivance WFX Wi-Fi WLAN Array solutions. The Digivance WMX 5000, which accommodates up to 12 wireless sectors in five units of rack space, is the highest density base station currently available. Its modular design can be used in a large number of WiMAX deployment options while meeting stringent operator implementation requirements. The Digivance WFX solution combines a wireless LAN switch and up to 16 integrated access points to deliver 864 Mbps of Wi-Fi bandwidth over a large area. This innovative approach simplifies the deployment and management of Wi-Fi networks while maximizing the amount of Wi-Fi bandwidth and coverage available to users at lower cost

These products are included in ADC KRONE'ss complete portfolio of wireless solutions including Digivance digital Distributed Antenna System (DAS) solutions that provide a range of products designed specifically to address the challenges associated with distributing and enhancing capacity and coverage in wireless networks. The portfolio also includes a complete line of ClearGain(R) Tower-Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs) that increase receiver performance by boosting the uplink (RX) signal of a mobile system, improving quality of service for mobile subscribers.

CopperTen's8482; Solutions Support 10 Gigabit Ethernet Performance

At CommunicAsia ADC KRONE will feature its CopperTen system. CopperTen is the world's8217;s first UTP structured cabling system with the necessary characteristics to enable 10Gbps Ethernet transmission over a full 100 meters. It fully supports the IEEE 802.3an Standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper twisted pair cabling approved this month.

CopperTen is the star of ADC KRONE's8217;s TrueNet® Structured Cabling System. TrueNet is the integrated portfolio of high performance copper and fibre cable, connectivity, and cable management products from ADC KRONE. Precisely tuned, TrueNet system uniquely exceeds TIA/EIA standards and provides a clear path for uninterrupted data throughput throughout the network.
