Confidela (www.confidela.com), developer of document control (www.watchdox.com), tracking and protection solutions, today announced that David Berman, a Cisco WebEx veteran, has joined its Board of Directors. Berman brings unique and extensive operational experience of sales and support models within the Internet and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market. He will guide Confidela'ss management team on introducing and advocating Confidela'ss WatchDox technology, which allows professionals and businesses to protect sensitive documents and confidential intellectual property.
Prior to joining the Board, Berman was president of Worldwide Sales and Services at WebEx Communications (www.webex.com), a Cisco Company. In this role,
he was responsible for the WebEx go-to-market strategy and for delivering the company'ss revenue plan. At WebEx, Berman created and implemented the revolutionary web-touch sales model,
which was key to the company'ss 100 times revenue growth and record profitability. His early leadership and contributions to the web meetings and SaaS industries were influential to
WebEx'ss successful IPO in 2000.
Confidela'ss SaaS approach to document sharing, security and control is a must for industries that require confidence when sharing important or sensitive documents, said Berman. I see
tremendous value and opportunity in supporting the company'ss unique, web-based approach. By empowering organizations with a better way to protect their documents, professionals can
immediately adopt the solution and feel secure about sending files to partners and customers worldwide.
Confidela'ss WatchDox is the only solution that provides document tracking (www.confidela.com) and control as a service. With no need to install any
software because of the SaaS model, professionals can use WatchDox as a cost-effective solution for sharing data across organizations, empowering companies that send sensitive information
to parties on and offsite to not let these documents end up in the wrong hands.
David'ss leadership and ability to bring products from fruition to acquisition is proven through his experience at WebEx, and it will help position WatchDox as a necessary solution for
today'ss business environments, said Moti Rafalin, CEO and co-founder of Confidela. His addition to our board is a strategic and valuable move for us as we grow and evolve our product
strategy to help professionals protect, track and control sensitive documents.
Confidela'ss WatchDox was launched earlier this month and is available in beta for a limited time at http://www.watchdox.com. Users can also send
documents directly from Microsoft Outlook by downloading and installing the WatchDox Outlook plug-in (https://www.watchdox.com/plugin).
