Great ideas for HR technology projects are often never realized due to lack of funding. To help HR professionals solve this dilemma, on August 23 IHRIM is presenting a webinar titled
"Improve your batting average - How to build a winning business case." The presenter will demonstrate how to build a business case that clearly articulates the costs and benefits of
proposed initiatives in terms that senior managers can understand. By helping you to clarify and quantify the issues involved in proposed projects, you should greatly improve your ability
to get funding.
The webinar will introduce attendees to business case concepts and approaches to enable them to sell their HR technology solutions to management. They will learn how to communicate the
value of proposed initiatives to senior leaders, particularly those outside of the HR function. Any professional or manager who needs to promote HR technology in their organization should
attend this session, e.g., HRIS directors, managers, project managers, and analysts as well as HR generalists should attend.
Steve Dawson, senior consultant with Executive Alliance, will be the presenter. He has been active in the HR technology field for the past 10 years. In his current position, Mr. Dawson
has helped numerous clients build successful business cases for a range of HR software and services projects. Prior to Executive Alliance, he was an IT director for Boston Scientific
Corporation where he assisted with the creation of several successful business cases for HR technology solutions.
