Detroit Business Cleans Hundreds of Prom Dresses For Free

Janet Davis Cleaners teamed up with 96.3 WDVD and Project Prom Princess, taking care of the dresses donated requiring cleaning.

To help each teenage girl in metro Detroit head off to prom feeling and looking like a princess, 96.3 WDVD hosted the Project Prom Princess event at Somerset Mall in Troy. Project Prom Princess was a huge success and received 1300 donations of new and/or gently used prom dresses.

The dresses were then handed out at the Project Prom Princess boutique in Somerset Mall with the help of local schools and churches. Somerset'ss best tailors and stylists were on hand to make certain the girls found the best dress to make them truly look like a princess.
