Fashion Bloggers Making an Impression on Trends

One of the biggest trends in fashion now is being a blogger. These pseudo list celebrities are popping up out of nowhere and making their opinions count. "Whether it's a shopaholic trying to subsidize their addiction or a fashionista looking to make her way into the industry, blogs are popping up everywhere." So how can you get started We knew you would ask. Here is a brief crash course on how to do it.

"Getting a free blog or hosting my own"

This is one of the main dilemmas you will encounter if you decide to start a new fashion blog. There are pros and cons to both so let's dive a little deeper. The biggest advantage you get with a free blog is the community benefit of traffic and indexing. Free blog sites are usually highly ranked and enable users to be indexed in popular search engines quickly. The main disadvantage is that your creativity may be restricted with templates and the domain name is typically generic and will not match your industry.

As you see, there are reasons to explore both options when looking to start a fashion blog, but hosting your own will definitely require some technical knowledge in addition to you laying out some money. We found most of the top ranked fashion blogs were hosted on free sites, so in the end it may be beneficial to go the free route first to see if you like if before wasting any real time and money.
