ZONE Telecom Partners with Transfer to to Tap Into InternationalMobile...

ZONE1511, one of the leading IDD service providers in Singapore, chooses Transfer To's8482;, a global airtime network, to launch its international mobile airtime transfer solution: TRAN.

With TRAN, users of ZONE1511 International Calling Card can now transfer value from their calling card in Singapore to top up their family members's pre-paid mobile phone accounts back home. The transfer or top up is done in real-time and takes an average of less than one minute to complete. At launch, TRAN supports users from the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Vietnam catering to approximately 600,000 foreign workers from these countries who are working in Singapore.

Unlike Singapore, it may be inconvenient to purchase pre-paid mobile top up cards because of geography and the limited retail distribution network, especially in the smaller cities or town where the foreign workers are from. TRAN offers them convenience and easy credit transfer from as low as 25 pesos to the Philippines, said Peter Ong, Managing Director of ZONE Telecom.

Airtime credit transfer is done through ZONE1511'ss calling card Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Users simply enter the overseas mobile number and select the amount to transfer. The top up or transfer is performed in real-time and the receiver can use the credit immediately. Instant SMS confirmation and notification are automatically sent to the receiver while voice confirmation can be heard by the sender.

Transfer To's8482; is distributed by IDD call companies as an innovative and differentiating service for their ethnic segment. Migrants are high telecom spenders; most of them own a mobile phone, states Eric Barbier, Transfer To's8482; Managing Director. This market has traditionally been overlooked and underserved. In developed countries such as Singapore, our partners can now rely on Transfer To's8482;'ss solid expertise to finally address the migrant markets.

ZONE1511 will launch the TRAN service at the coming Philippine Country Fair 2009 in Singapore from June 12th to 14th at Plaza Singapore with attractive on-site promotions and activities.
