InventHelp's174;, America'ss leading inventor service company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Killeen, Texas, have designed a system that would warn others in the area of an approaching emergency vehicle. This invention is patented.
The Emergency Vehicle Alert Signal would help enhance roadway safety by alerting others when in the area of an approaching emergency vehicle, such as an ambulance, fire truck or emergency
response vehicle. The invention could help ensure that motorists or pedestrians have time to move out of the way, and could help the emergency responders reach their destinations quickly
and efficiently.
The system would consist of a control switch that could be positioned on the emergency vehicle'ss dash board. A second component would be a plastic, dome-shaped flashing light that would
be mounted on top of the traffic signal light. To use, the emergency vehicle driver would flip the switch on the dash approximately one mile away from the intersection, and the system
would cause all traffic lights to turn red at the intersection. The mounted light would then flash red, warning all of the motorists and pedestrians of the approaching motor vehicle, thus
giving them ample time to move. The inventors have also come up with an automatic version of the Emergency Vehicle Alert Signal. This version would automatically alert the upcoming
intersection of the vehicle'ss approach, without having to force the driver to flip the switch.
InventHelp's174; is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the
