Hollywood Director Producer Dallas Tanner Completes Adventure Series in Hawaii Plans Are Underway to Start Filming in Brazil for Next Episodes



TV Producer/Director Dallas Tanner has announced that he has wrapped one season of the new adventure series "Destination X Hawaii" and plans are already underway to start filming an additional season in Brazil starting the summer of 2006. The dangerous filming in Hawaii took place on three islands spanning a total of 2 months of shooting from December, 2005 until March, 2006. A total of 52 episodes in the most far reaching locations on the planet are planned for 2006.

The action adventure series features a team of fit and athletic women who choose an exotic and remote location on the planet as they explore and overcome challenges and fears as they conquer paradise. The show will be aired on both USA cable TV, mobile phone downloads worldwide, and in an estimated 30 countries worldwide starting the the summer of 2006. DVD release of the series is planned for Fall, 2006.

Oscar Nominated Director Jonathan Heap also co-directed and co-produced the series with extreme sports and action filmaker producer Dallas Tanner and the production was produced along with WJK Worldwide Productions. According to Tanner, the production and cast faced many perils and dangers as they were persued while filming, by dangerous weather which just one week before had claimed the lives of 7 people when their homes were swept away on the rain and pouding winds on the exotic island of Kaui in Hawaii. "We just beat the stormy Pacific weather as we moved from island to island, and with all sorts of stunts, skydiving and excursions into dangerous and high wave waters, we were very fortunate to pull this off with great success". The crew filmed the dangerous and action filmed series on some of the same remote mountainous and waterfall filled locations where the feature film "Jurassic Park" and the hit TV series "Lost" was filmed.

The TV series was shopped and premiered at the industry mega tv event "MIPTV" in Cannes, France and was received with great interest by international buyers of television series worldwide with a number of companies compettng for exclusive rights to distribute the series worldwide.
