TVGuide.co.uk Releases iPhone App

Designed and built by Apple iPhone games and applications development company, AcrossAir (http://www.acrossair.com), the TVGuide.co.uk app brings content from the UK'ss biggest Interactive Programming Guide, including user ratings, to the iPhone. Simple Now and Next TV listings are available with full data for over 400 channels. It also has the benefits of extended TVGuide.co.uk information, including series numbers, episode titles, episode numbers, subtitles and audio described shows. It features direct links to BBC iPlayer, allowing users to watch popular BBC shows straight from their phone. Users can also customise channels selection and order for Freeview, Sky, Freesat and Tiscali platforms. In addition, the application allows navigation through TV listings offline, once the data has fully loaded.

TVGuide.co.uk CEO, Ravi Damani: Our application'ss smart look, combined with its unique features and simplicity of use makes it the perfect application for browsing TV listings. The fact that you can use the app offline means people can check what'ss on TV on the train home from work. We believe TVGuide.co.uk is going to be the number one free application on the iPhone.
