San Diego Specialty Toy Store Chain Expands Opens New Store In Carmel Valley



San Diego's8217;s neighborhood toy store is now open in a new neighborhood. On Saturday, October 22nd, Geppetto's8217;s will host a grand opening event to celebrate its new location in San Diego County.

The event will take place at the new store, located in Carmel Valley in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center, 3435 Del Mar Heights Rd., next to Ralphs and Wells Fargo, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature toy giveaways, prize drawings, games, crafts, face painting, activities, live music, refreshments and more.

Kids, parents and shoppers can meet a life-size Groovy Girl character while experiencing the new store. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities, free of charge, and experience the unique fairytale and family-fun atmosphere at Geppetto's8217;s new location.

There will also be a toy donation opportunity at the event to benefit the Community Resource Center, North County'ss only comprehensive social service and domestic violence agency, supporting women and children escaping domestic violence. Guests can bring in new toys or buy toys at Geppetto's8217;s at 50 percent off for the toy-drive.

The opening of this new location is the beginning of Geppetto's8217;s expansion plan, which includes two additional locations next year, in Otay Ranch and the 4S Ranch Town Center. Geppetto's8217;s, a locally owned and family operated shop, has seen a continued increase in demand for its specialty toys and customized service, necessitating the additional locations.
