CNG Outfitters enters into a relationship with Landi Renzo, manufacturer of compressed natural gas conversion kits (http://www.cngoutfitters.com). Landi Renzo dominates with 25% of world production and is introducing themselves to the US market in the fall of 2008. Landi Renzo is the most technologically advanced manufacturer of cng components with more than 50 years of experience.

As gas prices rose almost daily in the summer of 2008, the founders of CNG Outfitters saw the potential of CNG (compressed natural gas) powered vehicles as a viable alternative fuel. This was especially attractive in Utah, where CNG fuel is 85 cents per gallon, compared to the national average of $2.89. As the company received attention and continued to grow, this also attracted the attention of investors, which were able to finance and establish infrastructure necessary for continued growth.

Not only do they distribute CNG kits, but they also equip and educate national auto care centers to become their preferred installation authority. In light of recent EPA regulations, Landi Renzo is working with CNG Outfitters and other affiliates in the United States to receive certification to make the kits compliant with US requirements. Both companies are working together to obtain EPA certification and CARB (for the state of California) in direct contact with proper government agencies. To make the kits compliant for US vehicles, each kit is being exclusively calibrated to each specific model, make, and year sold in the United States. This ensures proper retrofitting of all the components that are installed by authorized dealers that are being trained and certified nationally by CNG Outfitters.
