Kansas Truck Mobility Opens New Facility In Wichita



Kansas Truck Mobility, a division of Kansas Truck Equipment, Inc., has opened a new showroom and installation facility at 1521 S. Tyler in Wichita. The 10,000 square foot showroom and service facility significantly enhances the display of the most current technology in mobility equipment. The showroom will allow customers to see, test and select the type of mobility equipment that best meets their needs. "This facility makes us the leader in the Midwest for the installation of modern mobility products in vehicles," said Maurice R. Linnens, president of Kansas Truck Equipment. "The showroom offers the customer a hands-on experience before they decide on a purchase."

The interactive showroom will feature turning automotive seats, interior/exterior vehicle lifts, vehicle hand controls, wheelchair tie down systems and new technology in transportation related mobility equipment. The showroom will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. A staff of factory-trained service technicians will perform the installations in specialized bays constructed in the facility.

Olympian To Be Part Of Open House At Kansas Truck Mobility

Wheelchair tennis player Nick Taylor, who won a gold medal on the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, will be part of an open house at Kansas Truck Mobility. The open house will take place Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8. Taylor's visit highlights appearances by local artists, athletes, hobbyists and professionals who are achieving great success in life despite their disabilities. "We wanted this open house to be a celebration of the achievements of those who have overcome adversity and their disability and are getting the most out of their lives and the most out of their mobility equipment," said Richard "Zack" Zackula, sales manager. "We call this special group our Mobility Masters."

The free open house and demonstrations by the Mobility Masters will be Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
