Airlogica Welcomes Kuwait Airways as a New Customer

May 11, 2005 -- During late August of 2004 Airlogica welcomed Kuwait Airways as the latest member of the Zeus family. Kuwait's route structure stretches from as far west as North America to as far East as Indonesia, so they are subject to all of the various regional forms of abuse that the global carriers have to combat on a daily basis.

But they are not new to Zeus. Tareq Al-Obaid attended the Zeus Advanced Training seminar in Singapore in April, and he is quite adept at digging into the BIDT data to find the answers he seeks.

Led by Tareq, Mohammed Hasan, Osama Alsayed and Ghada Moustafa (see download media) are the analysts charged with the daily management of GDS distribution at Kuwait while they are all anxious to reduce CRS waste.

"While we found some very interesting opportunities for measurable cost reductions due to some inefficiencies between our host and the GDSs and some questionable travel agency behaviors," said Tareq, "we are really looking forward to the potential to match MIDT with BIDT in the near future."

Randy Smith, Senior Consultant at Airlogica, reports "We are looking forward to a long and mutually-beneficial journey with Kuwait Airways as we streamline GDS distribution costs together."
