Todd Cardin of Limousine Answering Service has announced that his company will attend the 2007 International LCT Show will be held in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel & Casino on
January 28-30, 2007. This will be the first time that his company will be at attendance at the conference. The industry built on large luxurious automobiles, usually chauffeur-driven,
with a partition between the chauffeur and passengers has one of the strongest national asociation.
Todd Cardin has sang the praises for the NLA. The National Limousine Association has dedicated itself to furthering the national, state and local interests of the limousine community. Its
members continue to redefine professionalism and improve the industry's8217;s image in the minds of the general public. The NLA exists to serve its members and build the strongest
possible limousine industry.
New Rules will be focused on at the national convention. USDOT has indicated it will be making a concerted effort to audit operators during the coming year with inspections that focus on
driver qualifications, hours of service, drug and alcohol testing, vehicular maintenance and record keeping. Carriers utilizing drivers required to hold CDLs must maintain current
employees's8217; drug and alcohol test results and criminal background checks in a discrete locked file cabinet that is strictly for USDOT.
Log books or time records that document the number of hours spent on duty and the hours engaged in driving must be kept for drivers who operate beyond a 75 air-mile radius of their normal
work reporting location.
