May 20, 2005 -- The Fish Creek House is truly a graceful retreat of magical proportions, a beautiful log home located on 40 acres just outside of Whitehall. Fish Creek House offers ample fishing , hiking and is situated near many historic sites. Fish Creek House combines luxury accommodations, panoramic mountain views, wide open spaces and down home hospitality.

The newly remodeled inn was designed to reflect the rustic history that is Montana while offering amentiies that make our guests feel at home. Fish Creek House offers two themed guest rooms each with private baths. Each one of our guest rooms feature a different "Montana" theme in an "upscale rustic" decor - from the hand crafted log and pine furniture to the unique local art work that hangs on the walls.

After enjoying a full gourmet breakfast, guests can celebrating the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial ,by retracing. the steps of Lewis and Clark through Whitehall. Brightly colored murals decorate downtown Whitehall.

Guests may relax in the picturesque living room. This comfortable room offers a large rock fireplace, perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. Because we are horse lovers ourselves we welcome horses with their owners. Fish Creek House does not offer horses for riding, but we have accommodations for our equine friends. There are literally thousands of miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobile riding, and cross-country skiing.
