Florida Surf Camp2005 Comes To A Close

Surf Camp-2005 was a huge success for Florida Surf Lessons, Florida's premiere surfing school. "We had great waves and ridable surf every day," said owner, Geoff Schmidt. In addition, participants were treated to special guest appearances by surfer Crystal Cooper, who is sponsored by Lost Surfboards.

Everyone at the camp, including the staff, had loads of fun. "Carolina and I just LOVED Surf Camp!!" exclaimed Diane from Arlington, Va. "Stacey was a great lead for the camp, wonderful to be with and work with, and she had an excellent instruction team. Phil worked with me most of the time, and was just outstanding...and I achieved my goal for the week, which was to stand up on the board and ride it in. We plan to return for next year's all-women camp, if not sooner," Diane added.

Florida Surf Lessons is one of the only licensed and insured surf schools in the state, and every instructor is a CPR and First Aid certified surfing professional. During Surf Camp-2005, the school offered daily and weekly sessions at Nance Park, just South of Cocoa Beach in Indialantic for students of all ages. In addition to surf lessons, students participated in photo sessions, video analysis, an end of the week surf contest, and an awards ceremony. For those who needed a day away from the waves the school had available Indo Board Balance Training, Snorkeling, Beach Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and much more.

Learn to surf safely the right way, the fun way, the first time! Serving residents and vacationers in both South and Central Florida.
