Experience the Travel Highlights of a Country in 360 Degrees Like Never Before

We are pleased to announce our World in MotionVR tour to shoot some of the most amazing places on Earth with the latest Virtual Reality (VR) photography techniques.

Our goal is to help travelers experience online the travel highlights of each country we'll visit as if they were really there. A highly immersive website has been created at http://www.worldinmotionvr.com to accompany the tour and showcase an unparalleled collection of 360 degree VR photography. We hope this will enable travelers to better understand what there really is to see and do in each country and thus simplify their travel planning.

The World in MotionVR website already has over 100 high quality and interactive panoramas we shot in Australia and New Zealand. Many of which also have sound to make the experience as immersive as possible. The website will be updated periodically with new content as each country is completed over a 9 month period.

Here are a couple of examples from our Cubic VR showcase of how stunning this type of interactive photography can be.
Choose the QTVR Fullscreen versions for the best experience. Drag the mouse around the screen to pan and look up and down.

- Ayers Rock (featured recently as Fullscreen of the week at the leading VR photography site www.panoramas.dk)

- Bungy Jumping in Queenstown

Please note: A broadband connection and Quicktime are required to view this content.
The latest version of Quicktime can be freely downloaded from the Apple website at http://www.apple.com/quicktime

We are also pioneering a new VR technique (MotionVR) using time-lapse panoramas. This enables the viewer to actually move in 360 degrees and have the ability to look all around. It is now possible to experience activities like actually flying through a rainforest canopy, taking a helicopter or hang gliding flight, a boat cruise or a train ride all in moving 360 degrees

Here are some examples of how our unique MotionVR can really bring a scene to life:

- Cruise on Milford Sound in New Zealand

- Sydney Harbor

Please note: These movies will download progressively and may take some time depending on download speed.

Many more CubicVR and MotionVR country highlights are available for viewing on the main tour website at http://www.worldinmotionvr.com

World in MotionVR was created by Paul and Nadia Iliffe. They are currently touring the world as a family with their two children, Liam and Shan. The countries they'll visit were selected for their amazing cultural and natural diversity. The itinerary includes Australia, New Zealand and several countries in South America like Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. More tour details are available at http://www.worldinmotionvr.com/aboutus/about.html or by contacting Paul Iliffe directly.
