United Mileage Plus® and Global Traveler magazine have teamed up to sponsor an essay contest to discover who really is the 1K Global Traveler of the Year. Any United® 1K Mileage Plus member can be a winner - you just need to tell us why. Is it because you fly so often Or because you fly to so many different destinations Is it your loyalty to United or do you wait by your mailbox for your next issue of GT Let us know.

If you win, you and a guest may find yourselves whisked away on a round-trip first-class flight, compliments of United Vacations. You will be accommodated for seven luxurious nights by the fabulous Sheraton Kheauhou Bay Resort & Spa, Kailua-Kona and be provided with an eight-day rental of a convertible car.
