Americas Travel Expert Peter Greenberg Moderates Airline CEODiscussion...



For the third year running, America'ss travel expert, Peter Greenberg, will moderate a special panel discussion with airline CEOs at the annual National Business Travel Association International (NBTA) Convention 's38; Exposition on Tuesday, August 25 in San Diego, California.



The discussion will feature Southwest Airlines Chairman, President and CEO Gary Kelly and Continental Airlines Chairman and CEO Larry Kellner. Greenberg will moderate a candid and unrehearsed dialogue with these heavy-hitters on the current state of air travel, how the global economic crisis has transformed the industry into a buyer'ss market, and how airlines are adapting to recession-era travel.

In previous years, Greenberg has drawn crowds with his questioning of airline industry insiders such as Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson, former CEO of Air Canada, Montie Brewer, Gordon Bethune, former chairman of Continental, and Robert Crandall, former Chairman and CEO of American Airlines. With his trademark no-holds-barred approach, Greenberg has tackled timely topics such as airline mergers, congested airspace, 's224; la carte pricing, and nickel-and-diming fees.



The NBTA convention, which runs Sunday, August 23 through Wednesday, August 26, will also feature speeches from former U.S. President Bill Clinton, US Airways pilot and aviation safety expert Captain Chesley B. The four-day event will also include an exhibition hall with several hundred travel providers, and networking opportunities for more than 6,000 corporate and government travel managers and suppliers.
