Lake Chelan Looking for Number One Visitor

Love spending time relaxing in the beautiful Lake Chelan area Can't get enough of long summer days spent on the lake Looking for a new vacation getaway If you answered yes to any of those questions, this is your year to become the Lake Chelan #1 visitor.

Winning the title of #1 visitor is easy. Visitors, new and returning, just need to submit a photo and short written description of their favorite Lake Chelan vacation to enter the contest. Prizes will be awarded for the top four photos. The first place winner receives a 3 day-weekend in Lake Chelan and the title "Lake Chelan #1 visitor." The three runners-up will win $100 in Chelan Chamber bucks, good at participating businesses in Chelan. And all four visitors will get to see their winning photos featured on www.cometothelake.com.

The competition is open to amateurs and professional photographers who do not reside within 30 miles of the shores of Lake Chelan. The photos must be taken within 30 miles of Lake Chelan and may be color or black and white. Contestants are asked to submit a title for the photo and a short description to explain how the photo represents a favorite Lake Chelan memory. There is no limit to the number of photos that can be submitted from any single visitor.

The contest is now open and runs through August 15, 2008. Winners will be announced on September 8, 2008. High-resolution entries can be emailed or mailed to:
