Denver's8217;s historic Lower Downtown (or LoDo) neighborhood offers a variety of lodging, dining, area attractions, and activities options that are easily researched and reserved online; making planning a breeze.



The history of LoDo is long and colorful. Settled in 1858 by General William Larimer 's8211; he built his small cabin in the area and named his settlement 's8220;Denver City.'s8221; Today this 23 square-block area is remembered as the original settlement.
