Tilana Announces ShareLocker New File Sharing Feature in Tilana Reserve...

Tilana Systems Corporation announced today the immediate availability of its new secure file sharing feature, ShareLocker (http://www.sharelocker.com/adsource=REL_081125_beginning), which is now part of Tilana Reserve, the company'ss flagship multi-computer online backup, sync, and archive SaaS.

ShareLocker (http://www.sharelocker.com/adsource=REL_081125_beginning) is a completely new facet to the already unique Tilana Reserve tool set, which includes schedule-free instant real-time backup, perpetual storage for deleted files (off-site archive), and automatic file and folder synchronization with unlimited version history.

ShareLocker is the latest addition to Tilana Reserve and expands our delivery of online storage with real business value, said Derek Finley, Tilana Marketing VP. To further distance Tilana from our competitors who only provide simple online backup, Tilana Reserve now also includes secure file sharing.

Via a unique and automatically generated ShareLocker share link, users now have the ability quickly and easily send any kind of file, of any size, to anyone -- with or without settings like security password, maximum number of downloads, and download expiration.

A subscription to Tilana Reserve is not required to receive files delivered through ShareLocker. Clicking on the ShareLocker link from email, chat, or Web display simply loads a secure delivery screen with a download link to the file.

With ShareLocker, users can also choose to have the shared file automatically update with any changes saved to the original copy - whether saved directly or synced from another computer added to same Tilana Reserve account.

Any file on a Tilana Reserve enabled PC can be shared instantly through secure remote storage space, whether it'ss already backed up or not. Files that are backed up in the data center can be deleted from the PC and left archived in the data center space indefinitely. Even if the file is deleted from all of the user'ss computers it is still available for sharing and updated from unlimited version history in Tilana Reserve.

None of the leading online backup solutions allow files to remain in their data centers for more than 30 days after they'sve been deleted from protected computers that use their backup services. If a file is accidentally deleted from the protected computer the customer only has a month to notice that it'ss gone in order to retrieve the file before it is permanently deleted.

ShareLocker (www.sharelocker.com) is immediately available with all Tilana Reserve accounts including the free 12-month account, which provides 2GB of storage for use with an unlimited number of computers.

The (multi-computer) Pro Sync Account is $49.95 per year, plus $0.50/GB/mo over 30GB, and includes 30GB of backup, sync, and archive for unlimited computers.

The (single computer) Standard Unlimited Backup account is also $49.95 per year and includes unlimited backup for any single computer, regardless of its hard disk storage capacity.
