eSpirit Signs License Agreement with Guiffy Software for Advanced Diff...

Guiffy software, Inc. (http://www.firstspirit.de) has licensed its Guiffy SureMerge diff/merge library. Guiffy is bundled with and integrated into FirstSpirit 4, the latest release of e-Spirit's feature-rich Content Management System (CMS) product.

According to Joern Bodemann, CEO of e-Spirit AG, "FirstSpirit and Guiffy work seamlessly together, adding visual file compare capabilities to FirstSpirit for our customers." Other major enhancements in FirstSpirit 4 include:

-    Special features for Global Content Management, e.g. comprehensive multilingual functions, translation management and task sharing between IT and specialist divisions

-    Flexible deployments, e.g. for pre-press or mobile devices

-    Many new functions for editors, i.e. traceable changes

-    Special features for technology partners and developers

-    Easier administration, e.g. centrally embedded monitoring
