In the 2009 American Business Awards this week, iolo technologies, LLC was named a Finalist in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year - Under 2500 employees category, and iolo'ss CEO and founder, Noah T. Rowles, was selected a Finalist in the Executive of the Year - Computer Software category.
The American Business Awards are the nation'ss premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit entries to the ABAs - public and private,
for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Privately held, always self-funded,
debt-free, and profitable since inception, iolo stood out among the nationwide competition as one of the fastest growing companies in America, having also been consistently ranked on
Deloitte Fast 50 list of the fastest growing companies since 2004.
The software company'ss continued revenue growth of 63 percent last year and a similar explosive trajectory in the first months of this year are even more notable given the severe
declines in the global and national economy, 16 percent drop in software sales and 11.9 percent drop in new PC sales.
As iolo'ss founder and CEO, Noah T. Rowles has played a leading role in successfully defining the new tune up software category, and with it, firmly established iolo in its vanguard, now
commanding the #1 ranking according to NPD, with 66 percent of the PC tune-up market in the US. His focused execution of a vision of an easy to use software product that helps computer
owners enjoy ongoing optimal PC performance deservedly earned him the finalist honor.
Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and individuals continue to perform well, said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. The results of the
2009 ABAs thus far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of American organizations, executives, and workers.
Members of the Awards's Board of Distinguished Judges 's38; Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging that will continue through
June 3.Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.
Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 22 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Six-hundred executives from across the U.S.A. are expected
