PowerKnights Get Power Boost from Dynamic Network Services Incorporated

The Manchester High School West FIRST Robotics Team 501, the PowerKnights, today received a $10,000 sponsorship grant from networking leader and national rising star Dynamic Network Services Incorporated. The company, whose CEO Jeremy Hitchcock is a West High alum, believes there is a pressing need to expose high school students to the empowering aspects of engineering studies.

Programs such as FIRST inspire a broad range of students to study engineering in college by demonstrating practical applications of the field in a creative, positive fashion.

"We can't think of a better way to express the bond that exists between our company and our community," Hitchcock said. "Beyond our financial support, we volunteer our time as mentors, too. Hopefully, we can show the students that there is an exciting future waiting for them right here in Manchester."

While Dynamic Network Services Incorporated has been involved with the FIRST program at West and Memorial High Schools for several years, the company decided now was the time to further increase this commitment. The more students pursue higher education in math and science, the more opportunities for them to drive the technology revolution further ahead, boosting their careers and their region.

"This is not a commercial investment with immediate returns, but rather a long-term commitment to our thriving area. Only an active and creative community can bring positive change to its environment," Hitchcock said.
