BlogRatingzcom Lets the Readers Rate the Bloggers

May 25, 2005 -- The number of blogs is increasing quickly, making it difficult to find blogs that are worth reading. There are now over 6 million blogs, but most are updated only sporadically, and the quality varies greatly.

Ratingz Inc has launched a new website, BlogRatingz.com (http://www.blogratingz.com), where readers can post ratings and reviews of blogs. Information includes each blog's category, author, and URL, and ratings for writing quality, timeliness, accuracy, and entertainment value. Users can also leave comments about blogs.

Ratingz Inc was founded by Internet entrepreneurs John Swapceinski and Bob Nicholson. President John Swapceinski is also the founder of RateMyProfessors.com America's number one ratings website among college students, and a co-founder of RateMDs.com and RateMyTeachers.com.

Swapceinski said, "The tremendous popularity of RateMyProfessors has demonstrated the unmet demand for ratings and reviews, for all sorts of services. Because blogs are inherently an online medium, we think it makes a lot of sense to provide an online rating service."

Bob Nicholson, VP of Marketing, adds "There is a lot of great content being written by bloggers, but it's hard to find the good blogs. We're creating an environment where readers can share their opinions - good and bad - for others to see."

BlogRatingZ.com is free of charge to all users.
