Free Beer for Everybody Given its a Health Care Professional



June 4, 2005 -- After the unique web-portal http://www.DoctorsHobbies.com about extra-medical professions and "doctors diversions" has founded a beneficial association and became acknowledged at the European Medical Association EMA (www.EMAnet.org) as an official function, their founder Wolfgang Ellenberger, a medical doctor and concert pianist is announcing a First International Meeting.

On this web portal he presents leading health care professionals with their extra-medical professions and hobbies. How did he come to this idea He had held over 30 piano master classes for medical doctors in Germany from 1991 to 2000 and the colleagues were coming from all over the country. When he later went back to medicine after a phase of 20 years as a free lance concert pianist, he created the web and widened his focus from piano playing to all hobbies and from Germany to a world-wide research.

So far there is a vast variety of activities represented in a "famous 100-hobbies-table": From CalypsoDoc Dr Desmond Long from the caribic island St. Lucia and BluesDoc Samuel Bierstock with his "Managed Care Blues" from the USA he presents many Doctors Orchestras from Australia over Japan, Spain, Taiwan, the USA and -with the highest density of 20 orchestras - in Germany.

There is a big number of sports associations with the medical Olympic Games "http://www.Medigames.com". As well there are several colleagues presented who are real OlympicDocs: Mark Spitz, Klaus Steinbach, Gunther Philipp (swimmers), Sabine Bau (fencing).

Ellenberger is also webmaster of the German Association of the Writing Physicians http://www.Schriftstelleraerzte.de and shows competitions for writing physicians - alone in Italy there are three of them.

DoctorsHobbies.com has already made many connections between creative docs (as it is the function for the EMA): Just in these days the EDO (European Doctors Orchestra) which had been founded last year in November in London is playing a recital in Bucharest together with the Romanian Doctors Orchestra, and several members have found this institution via DoctorsHobbies.com!

November 12th, 2005 he has arranged a recital with the worlds biggest doctors orchestra http://www.MedicalMusical.org -making a tour through Germany- at the medical faculty of Frankfurt (Main). Their conductor Victor S. Wahby had just found DoctorsHobbies.com in the web on his research to prepare the trip to Germany and had contacted Ellenberger. The next event will be the meeting in Basel where Dr. med Nidecker is running a brewery http://www.UeliBier.ch in the 3rd generation of his family. He was so enthusiastic about the web portal and the idea to make this meeting that he decided to let all his colleagues who are coming in the evening of August 1st, 2005 taste his beers for free. Besides it is the Swiss National Celebration day and the 50th birthday of the DoctorsHobbies.com founder Ellenberger.

At this evening every visitor can present himself with his extra-medical profession or hobby to the others and everybody can share his experiences.
