Atlanta Music Scene Breaks Through As Hottest In America

Georgia is no stranger to a thriving independent music scene with bands such as, R.E.M, the B-52'ss, and Collective Soul. However, little has been heard from Atlanta 's8211; until now. BreakThru Radio (BTR) has named Atlanta the music scene to watch and will present DJ L's8217;s special 's8220;In the Mix's8221; Atlanta-only show. The show will air this week from June 19th 's8211; June 25th.



Georgia'ss own DJ L has been showcasing Atlanta artists throughout the year on her weekly Thursday show and has been instrumental in giving a voice to indie artists in the area.'s8220;I realized that Atlanta needed someone to represent its fast growing multi-genre music scene,'s8221; said DJ L.
