Poet Launches New Internet Radio Station Featuring Poetry Readings...

Poet Brian Douthit has launched a new Internet radio station that features poetry readings, authors, book reviews, and anything involving the arts. The literary content is mixed with pleasing music that includes New Age, World, Eastern, and a little Indie Rock. Douthit claims his radio station is, Radio for the creative crowd.



Eyes Of The Poet Radio is a very open forum for anyone who wants to read their poetry, talk about their favorite book or artist, and just about any idea a listener can come up with. says Douthit. The radio station will allow authors to provide a synopsis of their own books, authors and book reviewers can read their book reviews, and poets can read their own poetry. The content is not just limited to poetry and Douthit hopes to hear from many people involved with writing of any kind. When you talk about books, writing, authors, and poetry, you'sre talking about a wide range of topics, genres, and interests. I really can'st foresee placing any restrictions on the content that I'sll put on the air. says Douthit. The verbal content is intermingled with music so that a listener isn'st overloaded with continuous talk. The type of music has been chosen carefully so that it is soothing and pleasing and allows the spoken material to stand out more.
