Poet Brian Douthit has launched a new Internet radio station that features poetry readings, authors, book reviews, and anything involving the arts. The literary content is mixed with
pleasing music that includes New Age, World, Eastern, and a little Indie Rock. Douthit claims his radio station is, Radio for the creative crowd.
Eyes Of The Poet Radio is a very open forum for anyone who wants to read their poetry, talk about their favorite book or artist, and just about any idea a listener can come up with. says
Douthit. The radio station will allow authors to provide a synopsis of their own books, authors and book reviewers can read their book reviews, and poets can read their own poetry. The
content is not just limited to poetry and Douthit hopes to hear from many people involved with writing of any kind. When you talk about books, writing, authors, and poetry, you'sre
talking about a wide range of topics, genres, and interests. I really can'st foresee placing any restrictions on the content that I'sll put on the air. says Douthit. The verbal content is
intermingled with music so that a listener isn'st overloaded with continuous talk. The type of music has been chosen carefully so that it is soothing and pleasing and allows the spoken
material to stand out more.
The process for getting material on Eyes Of The Poet Radio is pretty easy. All a person has to do is record their content in a .wav or .mp3 file using their computer and then send it to
Brian Douthit in an email. The email should include some brief information as to what the recording is and who sent it. According to Douthit, the why is obvious. This will not only allow
people to have some national exposure, it can give them some International exposure as well. The radio station has had listeners from all over the world. That'ss the power and capability
of the Internet. There is no cost to have material broadcast on Eyes Of The Poet Radio, and new content is usually added every week.
The radio station is named after the book Douthit is co-editing with his long-time friend and fellow poet, David Robertson. The book is titled, Eyes Of The Poet: The Beauty And Depth Of
Humanity. Robertson and Douthit have almost completed the manuscript and are looking for a publisher. The radio station is Eyes Of The Poet Radio and can be found by going to either of
Douthit'ss websites: www.perfectlysaid.com or www.eyesofthepoet.com.
The telephone number associated with this release is of the publisher for Brian Douthit'ss poetry book, Perfectly Said: when words become art.
