A New York Press article (http://nypress.com/18/40/news&columns/ros%C3%A9ralatmaldonado%20.cfm) raises questions about the management of Suicide Girls, an alt-porn website whose
growing popularity has also led to accusations of shady money dealings, mysogenist behavior towards its models.
Most striking was the fact that the site is accused of conspiring with MySpace founder Tom Anderson to delete accounts on MySpace of Suicide Girls who had left to blog there instead. Mr.
Anderson did not comment.
Therefore, Punknet.com a blogworking site based in New York City, has offered their site as a place for Suicide Girls and anyone else to speak their mind on the issue without fear of
retribution.
If this is true, shame on them. You can'st run a successful community by deleting people you don'st agree with. Said Punknet.com founder, Marc Lefton.
We'sre not owned by Fox, we'sre just a couple of people offering the public a place to speak their minds, he continued.
Punknet.com was founded in 1996 and was one of the first punk rock websites on the Internet. After several iterations as a webzine, it relaunched in 2004 as a blogworking site and now has
4,450 members worldwide.
