Bloggator ends beta period offers expanded services
Online blog aggregator Bloggator.com has come out of its beta period and added new blogs and new categories to its growing community.
"Now users can read thousands of blogs covering hundreds of interests," said Jeffrey Smith, Bloggator's Founder. "Wherever your interests lie, we've already found the blogs for you."
Bloggator offers access to over 15,000 blogs, organized into categories covering a broad range of interests. Clicking on the "Celebrities" category brings up the latest celebrity news from hundreds of blogs, threaded from newest to oldest.
Blogs are updated throughout the day, 365 days a year.
A recent study revealed that 50 million Americans visited blogs in the first quarter of 2005, up 45% from 2004. That represents approximately 30% of all U.S. Internet users, or one-sixth of the total U.S. population.
"There are a lot of people just getting involved, and our service is ideal for people who are new to blogs," said Smith. "A new user can come to our site and be reading the top blogs immediately. And new users who want to begin blogging themselves can setup their own free blog within 2 minutes."
Smith sums his service up this way: "Bloggator is the easiest way available to get started with blogs. And it's just a lot of fun."
