May 7, 2005 -- jWeb New Media Design has received an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards for their design and development of the National Children's Cancer Society (NCCS)
website. The Award of Distinction is among the highest of honors that the Communicator Awards bestows on nominees.
The Communicator Awards recognize exceptional achievement by communications professionals. This year's competition saw nearly 5100 entries submitted for consideration. jWeb was among just
an elite group of top nominees to win an award.

The Communicator Awards is among four national awards that jWeb's NCCS work was nominated for in the first quarter of 2005. They also received a nomination for the Webby Awards, and two
nominations for the IABC Gold Quill Awards: one for the main NCCS site and one for the NCCS's Beyond the Cure site, a resource for adult survivors of childhood cancer.
