MyPicTales Launches The Backgrounds Community



MyPicTales, a leading provider of software and publishing services for the scrap booking and digital photo communities, today announced the launch of its much-anticipated "Backgrounds Community." A growing library of more than a 500 high-quality background designs, this new service is available to all MyPicTales customers for free to assist in producing quality photo books, calendars and cards. Every high-resolution image and design in the site has been carefully handpicked from the works of award-winning graphic artists from around the world.

Users interact with the new site in much as they would with community-powered stock photo site. Customers can browse through hundreds of backgrounds sorted by designer, theme, featured, most popular, new or random. With state-of-the-art features like hover view, subscription system, tag clouds, and remote storage, the site is easy and enjoyable to use. Users can register for free and download any background at no additional cost to use with their projects to be published by MyPicTales. As this community grows, there will be enhancements to this feature permitting designers from around the world to upload and license backgrounds to buyers directly at three different price points.
