InventHelp's174;, America'ss leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Petoskey, Mich., has designed an accessory that would protect an ice- fishing hole from ice and snow buildup. This invention is patented, and a prototype is available.
Ice Away could help to prevent the ice-fishing hole from freezing or filling up with snow. It would help an angler to pull the fish from the hole with ease, and could minimize the time
and energy spent ice fishing. The invention would help eliminate the excess light that spooks the fish, and would be able to be used on most makes and models of tip-ups. The Ice Away
could be placed and removed easily, and is portable, lightweight and easy to store when not in use.
The unit would consist of a circular device with a 1-inch slot. Heavy, water-resistant black cloth would be on the top and a circular piece of light, resilient polystyrene foam would be
on the bottom. To use, the individual would slide the reel of the tip-up under and through the unit, until the base of the tip-up rests on top. The user would then place the unit and the
tip-up into the ice-fishing hole. The Ice Away could also be offered in a variety of sizes to accommodate 8-, 9- and 10-inch diameter ice augers.
InventHelp's174; is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the
