Womens Fund of Weld County Accepting Grant Applications
The Women's8217;s Fund of Weld County, Inc. is accepting applications for grants to fund programs that address the needs of women
and girls in Weld County.
The funded programs should help women
and girls become self-confident, independent and economically self-sufficient members of the community. The priority for funding is in women
and girls 's8217; education, employment and self-development.
The Women's8217;s Fund values programs that include collaborative partnerships, innovative approaches, long-term impact on individuals, diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic groups and endeavors which build upon existing resources or services.
Established non-profit organizations are especially encouraged to apply for grants that meet the criteria and would fund a new project not within the current programming.
Grant amounts range from $500 to $2500. The deadline to submit an application is September 1, 2006. To download a grant application, visit

Founded in 1996, the Women's8217;s Fund of Weld County, Inc. is a permanent endowment within the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County. In addition to finding, funding and nurturing programs that address the unmet needs of women
and girls , the Fund attempts to build in all women a greater understanding of empowerment through philanthropy.
