"The 'cheat day' should be one day out of the week when you allow yourself to eat anything you really, really want. And what better day to really enjoy yourself than Super Bowl Sunday", Hunter explained.
The Registered Dietitian of over ten years made a point to emphasize it's only one day of the week. "It might seem obvious, but people who want six pack abs need to understand they can't take a 'cheat day' whenever they feel like it. They need to have a plan. And that plan needs to take just one day out of the week and permanently designate it as their 'cheat day'."
To achieve a six pack of abs, Hunter's other tips for dieters looking to stay on track, despite the temptations of Super Bowl parties, include:
1- Taking a 15-minute walk during halftime to stimulate metabolism and improve digestion.
2 -Limiting alcohol consumption as "hangovers" typically result in poor eating habits the following day.
3- Enjoying "guilty pleasures", but avoiding "grazing" by the snack table as it leads to excessive calorie consumption.
