Recently, Feona was interviewed for a podcast with Sister Space. The podcast will be there for one more month before it is archived. Because of a new partnership with a prominent women'ss
radio website, Sister Space is sharing some of its interviews on the site which reaches large groups of women and women'ss organizations. Feona'ss interview will be on their radio hub
homepage from August 2nd until August 9th and then will be archived on their site also. This adds to her media coverage, which includes The New York Times, The New York Daily News, Ebony,
ePregnancy, Upscale, WOC (Woman of Color), Today'ss Black Woman, The Philadelphia Tribune, The Virginian-Pilot, Christian Womens Resources, Radioscope, WWRL 1600 AM, SUCCEED, Deep Talk,

Additionally, Feona and Solo Mommy Magazine have partnered with Christian Womens Resources to provide single mom profiles and features for the site'ss Solo Moms webpage.
Feona is also excited to announce that she was just selected as Sister of the Month (SOM) for August at Sister 2 Sister 4 Christ'ss website. As a SOM, she will have a featured article in
Sister 2 Sister 4 Christ'ss monthly magazine, Extreme Woman. She will also have the privilege of being featured on the SOM page of their website. As part of her honor, she will also be
interviewed for their podcast, Sister 2 Sister Moments.
Feona'ss future plans for Solo Mommy Magazine include a mid-August book signing and in September, parenting workshops.
Concerning her many accomplishments and milestones, Feona is modest when responding: Solo Mommy Magazine is my mission and so, I have dedicated my life to the work of empowering single
moms everywhere. When I earn an accolade, my single-mom girlfriends earn one as well. It'ss not about me -- but about us collectively, and our children. I am very blessed that people have
been receptive to what I'sm doing. And, when they receive me, they receive all single moms.
This past school year, Feona worked as a Parent Activity Coordinator through The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for a pilot program aimed at providing public school students with
additional physical activity to combat the child obesity issue that'ss affecting so many of our children nationwide. She facilitated organized games during recess five days a week. Not
only did Feona get the kids active, but she bonded with the students and constantly encouraged them to excel at their academics. They embraced her concern.
During her summers, Feona continues to give back to the community by teaching third graders at a Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn summer camp how to create newsletters. Last year, her
students at the camp produced three newsletters in one month where they did everything from interviews to using their notes to form stories to editing the stories. I love my summers,
Feona shares. In fact, I just got a call from the summer camp'ss founder who said the kids are looking forward to their first day of class next week. Do you know how good it feels to know
that you'sre empowering perhaps the next Pulitzer-Prize winner It'ss serious and thrilling!
