New Study by travel agency Travel Relax Explore Reveals Fear ofTravelling...

For those who have already travelled to another country, you know it can be a life changing experience. But for many, this experience has been cast aside as just a dream that will never be fulfilled. Why Travel agency, Travel, Relax, Explore conducted a survey to get a better understanding.

Surprisingly ,the dream to travel to another country is not ignored because of the money, as those with the desire to travel overseas have a special nest egg set aside for such adventures or will do whatever it takes to make this vacation happen. It'ss not because of the lack of time either, as most people have unused vacation time they keep promising they will use one day, and students have numerous break opportunities.

Research shows the biggest reason adults and teenagers do not fulfill their dream to travel to other countries is because they do not want to travel alone.

While visiting several college campuses throughout Southern California, Erika Hall, Owner of travel agency, Travel, Relax, Explore, surveyed over 100 college students and discovered that eight out of ten students had a strong desire to travel to another country but would not pursue this venture because they did not have someone to travel with them. Similarly, in another study conducted by Travel, Relax, Explore, six out of ten adults have been hoping to find someone to travel overseas with for more than ten years.

As a result of these disturbing results, Erika has changed her travel agency'ss focus from a full service agency to an agency specializing in group travel. I just can'st bear the thought that people are not travelling because they feel they don'st have someone to travel with. states Erika. Group travel not only makes overseas travel affordable, but they make vacationing for single travelers a dream come true. I took my first vacation overseas on a group tour by myself, and not only did I end up meeting my husband, but I met some of the greatest, most interesting people that I am still in contact with over five years later. I don'st know if I would have had quite the same enjoyable experience if I had travelled with someone else.
