One Funky Mama Omnimedia, LLC. (OFMO) launched OneFunkyMama.com just for the mothers of today. Moms of today usually don'st get enough time to themselves to feel rested, rejuvenated, and more fulfilled. OneFunkyMama.com differentiates itself from other mom-related websites as it exclusively focuses on mom only. OneFunkyMama.com addresses thoughts and topics from a mom'ss perspective, but purposely to the exclusion of many of the other areas of her life, including children and husbands.



OneFunkyMama.com is a direct result of requests from women for something different in a website for moms, says Lynn Lawson, OFMO'ss founder. We'sve answered their requests with OneFunkyMama.com as well as, through our upcoming events and we'sre very excited about it!, says Lawson.



Onefunkymama.com publishes cool, informative content and produces funky events to help moms better themselves in all aspects of their lives. The main purpose of the website is to educate them on how to create a fun, fulfilled life, while being a wife and mother. The site provides informative fashion, beauty, and lifestyle articles.



Initially launched in April 2008 as a semi-weekly email blast, OneFunkyMama.com quickly launched a website and subsequently turned into a blog to establish more of an online presence. In addition to discussing cool topics for moms on OneFunkyMama.com the planning of funky, signature Moms Only events is underway with the first event launching in October 2009. These events will begin in Atlanta, Georgia and expand to major cities throughout the U.S. and abroad.
