Catapult Commerce offers 3.5 Processing to Online Gambling Merchants

Catapult Commerce announced today that for its grand opening during the month of August, and for a limited time only, merchants can obtain rates as low as 3.5% on their internet payment processing.

Catapult Commerce is a PCI-DSS certified company dedicated to the processing of online transactions. Concerned about the security issues that internet merchants face, and the responsibility they must assume before the card issuing entities around the world, Catapult Commerce has designed and developed, fraud detection software using the latest available technological advances such as IP Address geo-location, issuing bank identification and a host of other checks meant to identify and reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions.

"A high charge back rate is something that concerns every online merchant, which is one of the issues that drives our business model. Today, it is no longer enough to secure your systems, fraud detection and prevention are the order of the day", Said Jaime Velez, CEO of Catapult Commerce. Adding that fraud has seen significant growth in the past year, he says, "Companies need to take a proactive stance against fraud, customer support departments need the tools to fight fraud, which is what Catapult Commerce is ready to offer"

Catapult Commerce is confident in its ability to provide online merchants with the extra security end users have learned to demand.

Velez goes on to say that European online gaming, Catapult Commerce's initial target sector, was chosen because of the lack of service providers willing to show flexibility in that market. Market research has shown that rates are the single largest concern of online gambling operators and that giving merchants a bigger edge by providing processing at lower rates seemed like a great way to demonstrate Catapult Commerce's commitment to its clients.

Catapult Commerce will initially be targeting licensed online gaming merchants in the European Community, providing several services considered key features in the sector. Velez said as he picked up the phone to take a quick call, no doubt congratulating him for the successes he's already managed to tuck under his hat.
