Mindjaz Launching New Site



In an effort to reach new customer segments and create more cross-selling opportunities, Mindjaz, an online retailer of Consumer Electronics, is introducing a new home page and adding other site improvements, says Jeanna Brooking, Marketing and PR Director.

The new site will feature better graphics and text that highlights specific products such as wireless phones, computers and MP3 players. To generate more cross selling opportunities, the new mindjaz.com site will also feature links to other products, affiliates, wallpaper and screen savers.

"With the redesign we wanted to strike a balance," Brooking says. "We wanted to draw more attention to our core Consumer electronics products, but also emphasize the other merchandise we offer."

The e-commerce site already generates substantial and increasing traffic. In September, mindjaz.com received 500,000 thousand visitors and traffic is expected to swell to over a million monthly visitors during peak holidays. But Brooking says the timing is right for an update. "We are cleaning up the site and making it easier to navigate," she says. The company also announced that with the introduction of its new site is a new focus on retailing and merchandising, adding thousands of products to its online inventory.
