Bajaao.com Launches N.O.C. Issued in Mumbai India

N.O.C. (Issued) is a studio in Mumbai specifically designed for live jams. No prizes for guessing where the name came fromevery rock band in Mumbai has one common problem - a jam place! And even the bands that have access to a practice pad usually have problems with neighbors, cops, etcN.O.C. stands for No Objection Certificate (Issued).



There are several value adds. We have provided a mixer-PA setup to eliminate volume wars and to give bands the feeling of playing on stage and also to educate bands on basic sound setups and mixing techniques. We'sve tried to create a comfortable environment so bands can focus purely on making music with no problems and no interruptions.

Basic facilities at N.O.C.

Additional incentives for rock bands:

Mini-cinema* is a 1 minute walk (screens Mithun and x-rated indian flicks for 10 bucks)

Bookings are now open. Whether you'sre an established, semi-pro, amateur band, or just a a bunch of people trying to form a band or looking to jam up and have a good time, N.O.C. will work for you.



Soon N.O.C will be able to provide a live recording environment with live drums, so bands can record their jams (so you don'st forget that hit single you composed at that jam) and even cut demos before entering the studio.

What does it cost

Hourly rate - Rs 100/hour (Weekdays 6AM to 6 PM), Rs 125/hour (Weekdays 6PM to 6AM), Rs 150/hour (Weekends).



Monthly rate - Rs 2000/month for 8 jams. In a week, each band gets 2 jams's8212;once on a weekday and once on a weekend. Each jam slot is 2 hours, exclusive of set-up time. Bands will get to choose their slots; however availability will depend on prior bookings.



N.O.C. is not a business. We can'st recover our capital expenses unless we charge studio rates. Instead, all we hope to do is cover operating costs. Incidentally, N.O.C. doubles up as the BAJAAO.COM office (we work out of the loft).



N.O.C. is the fulfillment of a dream, and we really hope this helps the Mumbai rock scene in a big way.



How do I book my slots

Right now, just call up Ashu on 91-9322338513 to fix up a time to check out the place. Bookings are being done manually, but soon bands will be able to book slots online via a calendar on www.bajaao.com. Bands will also be able to view current and future bookings for a specific day, week, and month.
