Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Lucent (NYSE: LU) provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 100.000%, while Overstock.com (NASDAQ: OSTK) had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 97.219%


San Diego, CA September 9, 2006 -- For this report made on Friday, September 8th, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 13808 samples from the websites of Lucent, Alcatel, Blockbuster, LookSmart, CNET Networks, and Overstock.com during the entire day of Thursday, September 7th, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;



Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Lucent provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 100.000%, while Overstock.com had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 97.219%



Lucent has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 12pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.080100 and 0.570697 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 7am with latencies of 5.608551 and 0.824304 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.550 with a mean latency of 0.214 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Alcatel has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 7am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080843 and 0.450937 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 8am with latencies of 5.947375 and 0.601853 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.486 with a mean latency of 0.112 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Blockbuster has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 1pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.060609 and 0.177264 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 7am with latencies of 5.797492 and 0.329940 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.193 with a mean latency of 0.105 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



LookSmart has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.073%. The best response hour was at 10am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080291 and 0.624912 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 5pm with latencies of 27.326980 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.450777 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.891 with a mean latency of 0.696 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



CNET Networks has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.146%. The best response hour was at 2am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080007 and 0.346278 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 10pm with latencies of 87.227000 (we consider this unreachable) and 3.781778 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.828 with a mean latency of 1.736 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day.
