Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Apple Computer (NASDAQ: AAPL) provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 100.000%, while Lucent (NYSE: LU) had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 92.101%


San Diego, CA September 17, 2006 -- For this report made on Saturday, September 16th, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 18431 samples from the websites of Apple Computer, Microsoft, Yahoo, Best Buy, Blockbuster, and Lucent during the entire day of Friday, September 15th, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;



Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Apple Computer provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 100.000%, while Lucent had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 92.101%



Apple Computer has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 5am with minimum and average latencies of 0.052114 and 0.257004 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1pm with latencies of 5.978330 and 0.523854 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.246 with a mean latency of 0.181 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Microsoft has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 2am with minimum and average latencies of 0.058624 and 0.224501 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 3pm with latencies of 5.563780 and 0.339640 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.250 with a mean latency of 0.082 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Yahoo has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 100.000%. The best response hour was at 6am with minimum and average latencies of 0.065334 and 0.178924 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 8pm with latencies of 5.121833 and 0.242455 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.176 with a mean latency of 0.093 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Best Buy has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.524%. The best response hour was at 11am with minimum and average latencies of 0.010306 and 1.748808 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 11am with latencies of 30.267243 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.748808 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.671 with a mean latency of 0.687 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Blockbuster has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.090%. The best response hour was at 11am with minimum and average latencies of 0.066370 and 0.165782 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 8pm with latencies of 123.391646 (we consider this unreachable) and 6.785445 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.054 with a mean latency of 3.731 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.



Lucent has provided their site users with what we deem as reasonable quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 92.101%.
